Friday night marks the start of Big Ten play for Wisconsin and Purdue.
Wisconsin (2-1, 0-0 Big Ten) hosts Purdue (1-2, 0-0 Big Ten) in the first conference matchup of the season. Both teams are members of the Big Ten West, and they are very familiar with one another – although that familiarity has been lopsided as of late. Wisconsin has won 16 games in a row against Purdue, including a 35-24 win last year in Madison, dating back to before this became an annual matchup in 2009. Wisconsin leads the all-time series 52-29 with eight ties, dating back to 1892.
Here is how to watch the Wisconsin Badgers play the Purdue Boilermakers today:
- Sept. 22, 2023 is the date of the game
- Game Time: 7:00 p.m. ET
- FOX Sports 1 is the TV channel
In this game, the Boilermakers will aim to buck more than just that losing streak. With two losses in their first two home games, they are looking for their first victory of the year. Only one win has come on the road – a 24-17 win against Virginia Tech in Week 2.
As for Wisconsin, the Badgers will try to move to 3-1. A 38-17 win over Buffalo opened the season, followed by a 31-22 loss on the road to No. 21 Washington State in Week 2. Their win over Georgia Southern last week bounced back after a loss last week.
