On Friday night, when the Big Ten West rivals meet in an important game,
the Purdue Boilermakers will try to end a 20-year streak of futility against the Wisconsin Badgers.
The game will kick off at 7 p.m. ET at Ross-Ade Stadium. The last time Purdue beat Wisconsin in
the series was in 2003, with a 26-23 win in Madison. In the following 16 games,
the Badgers have won 16 consecutive games, including a 35-24 victory at home last season.
In order to achieve a winning season or to qualify for a bowl game,
the Boilermakers (1-2) must avoid losing their first three home games in 2023.
After 20 consecutive winning seasons in the FBS, Wisconsin (2-1) hopes to continue its success.
